Kristen Leucuta M.S., CCC-SLP - Chat and Chew Therapies (she/her/hers)

Kristen graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics.  She completed her Masters in Speech Language Pathology at Idaho University in 2020. She then moved to Washington in 2020 where she provided speech language and feeding services to children in three private practices before starting her own business in 2023.
 
Kristen serves neurodiverse populations with a person-first and family-centered approach. She values individual differences while supporting children and families to advance the communication abilities of her clients. She is skilled at identification and treatment of communication disorders and differences related to autism, speech articulation, motor speech, receptive/expressive language, fluency, and feeding.  She encourages communication in all forms including best practices for developing the language of augmentative and alternate communication (AAC) users. Kristen is trained in gestalt language processing and effective strategies for encouraging the language development of children as they move through the stages of Natural Language Acquisition. 
 
Kristen specializes in swallowing and feeding disorders, and she is trained in the Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding. This research-based approach and multidisciplinary framework directly address the core challenges faced by children with feeding difficulties.  She additionally specializes in diagnosis, treatment, and client support for stuttering and cluttering.

Tiffani Kittilstved, M.S., CCC-SLP - Stuttering and Speech Therapies (she/her/hers)

Tiffani received her B.A. in Anthropology from Eastern Washington University in 2014 and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee in 2017.  She is also currently pursuing her PhD in Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences through Idaho State University, which she hopes to finish by Spring 2025. For the past several years, Tiffani has worked in several pediatric private practices in the greater Seattle area.  She builds strong bonds with children and families in supporting the communication needs of Neurodivergent folx across the lifespan, specializing in working with kids, teens, and adults who stutter but also having skills, training, and interest in supporting children and adults with other neurodivergences, including Autism and AD/HD. Tiffani strives to work holistically to help guide her clients and families along their journey to accept and love themselves and their child and help them to become the most confident and authentic version of themselves they can be.


Tiffani’s clinical and academic interest is in stuttering and she, herself, is a person who stutters.  In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in the National Stuttering Association (NSA) and Friends - an association for young people who stutter.  Locally, she leads the NSA Seattle Family and Adult chapters. Her goal as a professional and person is to support the greater stuttering - and disability - community and to help create a world that is equitable and not only supports, but celebrates, the diversity that comes from disability.
